BODYARMOR challenged DOMO to collaborate* on a unified story across a multi-platform campaign: spotlight elite athletes in their most powerful moments, create technical drink sequences using motion control, and deliver lighter, personality-forward content for social. All of it had to land within a short timeline, with a cohesive visual identity and a seamless blend of precision and play.
DOMO’s charge was to elevate BODYARMOR from functional sports drink to aspirational symbol—a brand that understands athletes not just in their sweat, but in their smiles.
process
Director Noah Conopask, in *collaboration with Biscuit Film Works, led the charge on this high-intensity shoot, guiding it through multiple creative directions while staying grounded in a unified vision. At the core was the hero spot—a cinematic portrayal of athletic intensity that followed the rhythm of real training: from quiet, focused reps to explosive motion. Conopask built the film’s structure on this physical cadence—pauses cracked open into bursts of fury, and stillness swelled into sweat-soaked drive. Every frame carried momentum, each cut building toward a visceral release.
To tie BODYARMOR directly into that rhythm, DOMO engineered a dynamic motion control sequence that became the pulse of the campaign. A camera mounted on a BODYARMOR bottle traveled from athlete to athlete, creating a seamless pass-off between Joe Burrow, CeeDee Lamb, Sabrina Ionescu, and others. The result was a hypnotic loop of action and recovery—one bottle powering multiple sports in a continuous flow of energy and replenishment. This blend of precision and fluidity made the brand feel integral, not incidental.
But the campaign didn’t stay in a single emotional lane. DOMO and Conopask built in space for lightness, humor, and off-the-court personality. Social-first vignettes captured Burrow cracking jokes mid-move, Lamb breaking into dance, and Ionescu radiating ease of hand. These weren’t just behind-the-scenes extras—they were embedded into the DNA of the production of “Challenge Your Comfort Zone.” By keeping the crew nimble and the vibe personal, Conopask helped athletes show up as themselves. The result was a campaign that moved with range, rhythm, and soul—one where BODYARMOR became part of the journey, not just the backdrop.
